Built on a Windows 7 OS, with a J-2534 reflash device, the Mac Tools ET6500 Mentor Touch durable scan tool provides the technician with over 30 years of OEM vehicle coverage, reflash capabilities and easily connects to wireless networks and printers. The vehicle communication interface (VCI) connects to the vehicle and communicates via Bluetooth to the handset. An innovative VCI holster holds the Bluetooth interface for easy transportation. The included stylus slides conveniently into the top of the tool and the rubber side grips keep thumbs close to the touchscreen. The 10" touchscreen works well with the stylus or gloved hands. The Mentor Touch can automatically identify the year, make, model and engine of newer vehicles. When retrieving codes from a vehicle, it simultaneously searches for experience-based repair solutions and provides the user with quick access to the repair information embedded in the tool and on the web.
