    The Actron U-Scan turns a technician’s iOS or Android smartphone into a scan tool. Users pair the U-Scan app via Bluetooth with their smartphone to diagnose and help fix a vehicle problem. The U-Scan app can reset the "check engine" light, check I/M monitors for emissions data, scan a vehicle for trouble codes and erase generic trouble codes. The app logs vehicle history, including vehicle tests and procedures, for multiple vehicles. Optional upgrades to the app include, exclusive to U-Scan in this price point, viewing and graphing live engine data, and CodeConnect data, providing the most likely causes and fixes for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). Other upgrades include manufacturer-specific trouble code definitions, freeze frame data and ABS and airbag codes and definitions.
