The OTC CAN Test Box allows technicians to connect, detect and monitor voltage, as well as diagnose electrical faults and CAN bus line activity. Tests include power and ground circuits, active protocol lines or detailed signal analysis by connecting a multimeter or oscilloscope. The tool connects between the Diagnostic Link Connector and scan tool to detect data and protocol communication. It helps technicians verify ECU activity and signal detection with easily identifiable LEDs. Additional functions include monitoring battery voltage, an alarm warning when voltage drops below 11.6V and monitoring of OBD II data lines.
