The asTech remote diagnostic device, from Collision Diagnostic Services, is designed to help repair shops improve cycle times, provide more accurate repairs and improve customer satisfaction by allowing users to see what can’t be seen with the naked eye. The repair technician connects the asTech device to the battery supported vehicle, which communicates via the internet to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) factory scan tool, operated by a master technician. The master technician completes the diagnostic scan and sends a full report directly to the shop.
