The Detroit Diesel DDEC Suite v5.0, No. EEHD844015, from Snap-on, supports DDEC engines from 1987 to present, including DDEC II, III, IV, V, 6, 10, 13, 16, and 20, MBE 2001-2006; Series 60, DD5, DD8, DD13, DD15, DD16, and MBE 900 and 4000; and Freightliner Cascadia body and chassis modules (2009-2024). It makes performing regens, speed parameters/idle adjustments, testing emission systems, cylinder cutout, and diagnosing rough-running engines more efficient. Users can perform SCR tests, clean diesel particulate filter systems to keep vehicles operating properly and out of derate, run compression tests, and disable fuel injectors to troubleshoot misfires and diagnose HVAC and safety systems.
