The Channellock No. 444 air brake tool is a 12" tongue-and-groove plier designed to quickly and accurately check the clearance between the drum and brake shoe on S-cam brake systems using manual or automatic slack adjusters. Seven channel adjustments enhance versatility. The company says this tool is very easy to use; no longer will brake clearance checks be a two-person job.
