Power Steering Adapter Kit, No. MVA670

The Mityvac Power Steering Adapter Kit, No. MVA670, is designed to prevent air to be re-incorporated into power steering fluid in a wide range of vehicles. When installed in place of the power steering reservoir cap, these adapters form an airtight seal in the neck of the vehicle’s power steering pump. A vacuum pump can be coupled to the adapter to exert a vacuum on the fluid’s surface in the reservoir. As trapped air leaves the system, the vacuum prevents air from re-entering the fluid and forming foam at the surface. The kit includes three adapters - one for GM two-tab caps, one for Ford power steering pump necks and one universal cone adapter.
