    The OTC Strut Nut Socket, No. 6640, is for use on shock absorbers that have the electrical terminals coming through the center of the tenion and the mounting nut deep into the top mount. The tenion must be held with a 9mm open end wrench, the company notes. The tool will also work with passive absorbers. It has a 18mm hex size and 1/2" square drive.
