The GripEdge Tools RPT Star Bit Sockets are designed to prevent the rounding of good star fasteners while being able to remove damaged ones. The patented RPT (rounding prevention technology) delivers up to 50 percent more torque on good fasteners, and up to 400 percent more on damaged ones, according to the company. The patented and bidirectional geometry prevents the rounding of good fasteners while being able to remove compromised fasteners. Each bit is precision machined from S2 steel for increased strength and durability and coated for increased corrosion resistance. All sockets have oversized, roll-stamped, and ink-filled size markings for greater visibility. Available in sizes ranging from T6 to T60.
