    The EV Training Tool from Automotive Video Innovations (AVI) is a cutaway Prius that is designed and created by the company's instructor teaching electric vehicle classes. The vehicle is a full functioning vehicle but has several unique features to allow technicians to master high voltage theory and diagnostics. Not only is the vehicle a cutaway so items can be seen and accessed easily during classes but also has another full set of dead high voltage electronics, which allow the students to master testing safely before moving to the live circuits. It also has an aftermarket scan tool as well as the Toyota tech stream tool to master PID data.
