The automotive aftermarket’s first web portal for directly importing auto parts from overseas suppliers is now live at www.inTelligentparts.com.
Based in New York City, inTelligentparts, Inc. is led by its founders, Joe Zucchero, CEO, a former executive with CARQUEST, and Frank Pagano, executive vice president and the former CEO of Coni-Seal.

One of the key advantages of the new company is the ability for distributors to purchase products in less than container load quantities. Pagano says it is a way for small- to medium-size distributors to level the playing field against larger companies. In addition, buyers have free access to the international vendor database that inTelligentparts is putting together, as well as the benefits of the full service brokering expertise of the inTelligentparts team for a nominal fee of nine percent per transaction.

inTelligentparts has automated a very complex process through its web portal that includes a convenient dashboard function. This allows users to see all their activities (orders, invoices, RFQs, etc.) in one place. inTelligentparts is in the process of building its vendor database and encourages prospective suppliers to register at the website and go through the process of uploading their information.
