Magnum Gaskets coverage tops 100,000 applications

March 28, 2014
Magnum Gaskets now lists more than 100,000 make/year/engine applications in its electronic catalog for passenger cars and light duty trucks.

Modern Silicone Technologies (MSI) announced that its Magnum Gaskets product line has reached a new milestone. With the continuous addition of new product designs and growing late model coverage, Magnum now lists more than 100,000 make/year/engine applications in its electronic catalog for passenger cars and light duty trucks.

In addition to Magnum’s own web-based catalog (magnumgaskets.com), the U.S.-based manufacturer also supplies ACES and PIES compliant data to the aftermarket’s most popular e-cataloging services.

“Reaching 100,000 applications demonstrates our aggressive growth strategy and our commitment to serving our customers,” said Magnum Vice President, Derek Data. “This milestone includes only Magnum’s coverage for traditional import and domestic light duty vehicles. We are also rapidly expanding our High Performance and Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel product offering.”

For almost 20 years, Magnum’s parent company, Modern Silicone Technologies Inc. (MSI), has been the premier supplier of hi-tech molded rubber, plastic and metal gaskets to major aftermarket brands and OEM. When the Magnum Gaskets brand was introduced in 2012, it gave the aftermarket direct access to the top quality gaskets that knowledgeable people had demanded for years under older brand names, the company said. Now Magnum is recognized as a leader in gasket design and technology. More than 90 percent of Magnum Gaskets are designed, manufactured and packaged in the U.S.
