Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has dramatically expanded vehicle application coverage with its new Clamp-in VDO REDI-Sensor TPMS Sensor.

The new sensor, Part No. SE10002A, delivers the same coverage as the popular VDO REDI-Sensor SE10002, plus provides new coverage for more than 3 million additional vehicles through model year 2016, with even more coverage pre-stored for future model years. Continental is one of the industry’s leading manufacturers of complete OE Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), OE-engineered TPMS replacement parts and the maker of the VDO REDI-Sensor™ Multi-Application TPMS Sensors.

As with all VDO REDI-Sensors, SE10002A delivers the TPMS sensor service solution by coming ready to use, right out of the box. While many other sensors require aftermarket-specific sensor programming/cloning, VDO REDI-Sensors come pre-programmed and are designed to follow the vital OE vehicle relearn procedures with no added steps. VDO REDI-Sensor also works with all major TPMS scan tools and no new training is required. Shops that have the tools and know-how for OE sensors are ready for REDI-Sensor.

With extensive coverage for domestic, European and Asian vehicles, VDO REDI-Sensors dramatically reduce the sensor SKUs needed to service incoming customers. Only four VDO REDI-Sensor SKUs are needed to replace more than 250 OE sensors.

Continental’s in-house development and manufacturing expertise includes complete Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems, replacement parts and passenger and commercial vehicle tires. All VDO TPMS replacement parts are made in ISO-certified facilities to the same quality standards as the OE parts supplied to automakers worldwide.
