AutoZone Names Al Saltiel Senior VP, Marketing

AutoZone announced that Albert "Al" Saltiel has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Customer Satisfaction.

AutoZone announced that Albert "Al" Saltiel has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Marketing, Customer Satisfaction.

Saltiel comes to AutoZone from Navistar International Corporation where he was Chief Marketing Officer and a key member of the leadership team. Saltiel has also been with Sony Electronics as General Manager, Marketing, and Ford Motor Company where he held multiple marketing roles.

Saltiel will report to Bill Rhodes, Chairman, President & CEO, Customer Satisfaction.

"Al has spent many years working in both business to business and business to consumer environments," said Rhodes. "His experiences at Navistar, Sony and Ford are well suited for this position and we are excited to welcome Al to AutoZone."

As of February 9, 2013, AutoZone sells auto and light truck parts, chemicals and accessories through 4,735 AutoZone stores in 49 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico and 334 stores in Mexico and one store in Brazil for a total store count of 5,070.
