Advance Auto Parts promotes Jon Dehne to senior VP
Advance Auto Parts promoted Jon Dehne to Senior Vice President, Market Availability, Inventory Management and Merchandise Operations.
Dehne will be responsible for all aspects of the development and execution of Advance’s in-market availability strategy. As part of his responsibilities, he will lead replenishment and operations strategies as well as pricing capability and strategy in order to leverage gross margin and sales growth. He will also lead the supply chain inventory and data analysis functions. Dehne will report to Charles Tyson, Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain and will continue to be based in Minneapolis.
“I am pleased to promote Jon to this new position as he has played an instrumental role in positioning Advance as a parts leader in our industry,” said Tyson. “The core of growing Advance’s parts business with commercial customers is ensuring that we build best-in-class, in-market, same day parts availability through our supply chain. Under Jon’s leadership, we are realigning our organization to support these initiatives and meet the needs of our field and store team members and commercial customers.”
Dehne joined Advance in 2008 as Vice President, Merchandising Process Development and most recently served as Vice President, Replenishment, Merchandising Operations and Capability. Prior to joining Advance, he served as Vice President, Enterprise Transformation with Best Buy. Prior to Best Buy, Dehne spent eight years with Nash Finch Company, a publicly traded wholesale food distributor in the United States, where he held various positions.
Dehne holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas located in St. Paul, Minn., and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from St. Cloud State University located in St. Cloud, Minn.
