CTEK continues Miller Racing sponsorship in
TransAm Pro Racing Series

CTEK Power Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of the CTEK/Northstar Miller Racing Chevrolet Camaro driven by Cameron Lawrence for the 2014 season.

CTEK Power Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of the CTEK/Northstar Miller Racing Chevrolet Camaro driven by Cameron Lawrence for the 2014 season. Last year, Lawrence was the TransAm TA2 class overall champion after winning eight out of 10 races.

Lawrence, now in his fourth year of racing in Trans Am, has begun 2014 just like he finished 2013—in winning fashion. To date, Lawrence has claimed four of the five TA2 races this year.

"As a supplier to and partner with NorthStar Battery on their premier line of battery chargers, we are honored to sponsor Cameron Lawrence and Miller Racing,” said Matt Ingram, regional sales manager for CTEK.  “So far, it is shaping up to be another championship season for the team.”

“Miller Racing is thrilled to continue its relationship with CTEK,” said Mike Miller owner of Miller Racing.  Miller says CTEK battery chargers are used for every race weekend and around the Miller Racing race shop. He points out that CTEK chargers have become an integral part of keeping Miller Racing batteries conditioned.  “The demands made on our racing batteries are very high and with the use of our CTEK chargers we have never had a failure or problem,” continued Miller.

NorthStar Battery Chargers by CTEK are multi-step, fully automatic primary switch mode chargers for batteries that can support fast charging. Unlike traditional battery chargers, CTEK chargers are designed with a focus on simplicity, safety and flexibility. The NorthStar Battery CTEK chargers are weather resistant, with unique Supply and Recond modes, and a patented desulphation function.

The Trans Am Series, America’s Road Racing Series, dates back to 1966. The series now features three distinct classes; TA, TA2 and TA3 and is sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing. For more information, visit www.gotransam.com.
