Transtar Industries hires David Haynes as VP, U.S. Domestic Distribution

Transtar Industries, owner of automotive aftermarket brands including Transtar, Transtar Autobody Technologies, King-O-Matic, Axiom and Nickels Performance, named David Haynes Vice President, U.S. Domestic Distribution. 

Transtar Industries, owner of automotive aftermarket brands including Transtar, Transtar Autobody Technologies, King-O-Matic, Axiom and Nickels Performance, named David Haynes Vice President, U.S. Domestic Distribution. Haynes is based in Cleveland and reports to Tim Bowes, President and CEO.

“I am excited about having David’s leadership for our national distribution organization as well as assisting with the continuing integration of the DACCO business and team from our acquisition earlier this year. I look forward to his contributions in executing dynamic growth strategies, value selling and salesforce management as we strengthen our leadership position in our industry,” said Bowes. 

Haynes brings a significant track record in leading corporate strategic growth initiatives, and joins Transtar from Honeywell International in Cleveland where he served as Vice President – Marketing for its Novar and Inncom building automation and energy management divisions. Prior to Honeywell, Haynes held executive-level marketing and sales roles in manufacturing, software and telecommunications.  He served as Executive Vice President for Fabcon, a California contract manufacturer; as co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a California wireless software start-up, and consulted for Deloitte & Touche. Haynes has international business experience, as well as having led merger and acquisition and integration projects during his career.

He holds an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business at California’s Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
