Alliance promotes J.C. Washbish to director of marketing

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance promoted John Carlson (J.C.) Washbish to director of marketing. He will lead the group’s efforts in the development and implementation of all communications, promotions, branding, public relations and event marketing.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance promoted John Carlson (J.C.) Washbish to director of marketing.  Washbish will lead the marketing group’s efforts in the development and implementation of all communications, promotions, branding, public relations and event marketing.

“J.C. has made a big impact in a short period of time since joining us a little over a year ago,” said Fred Bunting, Chairman of the Board, Auto-Wares Group of Companies and Alliance Board Director, “His leadership in enhancing our communications and successfully driving our marketing programs through our customer base delivering great results and tremendous support from our shareholders.”

In June 2016, Washbish joined the Alliance as the Sales, Marketing & Brand Manager.  In his new position as director of marketing, he will be responsible for the strategy and activation surrounding the Auto Value and Bumper To Bumper branded programs, their exclusive Certified Service Center program, Confidence Plus National Warranty and SafeRoute Roadside Assistance.  He will continue to lead all marketing efforts for all promotions, such as, the recently completed Perfect Stop Brakes Summer Giveaway and is launching the Kentucky Horsepower Promotion in September where three technicians will each win a new Corvette and $25,000 in cash.

Washbish holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ava Maria School of Law in Naples, Fla., and a bachelor’s degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. Prior to joining the Alliance, he was employed by NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) as an account executive where he was responsible for several major retail accounts as well as servicing all accounts in the Caribbean market.
