Sept. 19, 2017
Levine Auto and Truck Parts, based in Danbury, Conn., has 170-plus employees and operates eight locations and a warehouse.

The Automotive Distribution Network continues to expand the group’s Parts Plus footprint across the country with the recent signing of Levine Auto and Truck Parts, based in Danbury, Conn.

“The Network is proud to welcome Levine Auto and Truck Parts to the Network as a Parts Plus member,” says David Prater, Network president. “Serving approximately two-thirds of Connecticut and parts of New York State, Levine Auto and Truck is a well-respected distributor by both the Network’s manufacturer partners as well as our competitors.”

The company’s origins can be traced to 1955, when founder Irving Levine began selling parts out of his truck before opening his first location in Danbury, Conn., in 1955. As the business expanded, Levine Auto and Truck Parts moved into a larger facility in Danbury, where the family-owned business continues to thrive in 2017, specializing in auto and heavy-duty parts and auto-body and paint. The company’s 170-plus employees operate eight locations and a warehouse, with storefronts in Danbury, Norwalk, Winsted, Brewster, New Milford, East Hartford, and its newest branch in Waterbury.

Jeff  Levine, owner and CEO, signed with the Network based on the depth of the Parts Plus product and marketing programs as well as the group’s cutting-edge IT initiatives. “Business is a moving target, so you’ve got to constantly be one step ahead to outperform the competition,” he explains. “Not only does the Network have the right marketing programs in place, but the strong relationships with their vendor partners also complement us very well. The Network’s IT initiatives will help us become even more efficient in our day-to-day operations.”
