Auto Plus, a leading U.S.-based distributor of automotive replacement parts, has joined the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc., a premier global aftermarket distribution and marketing program group. Auto Plus, with 325 corporate stores, 21 distribution centers, and 4,000+ team members, is part of Icahn Automotive Group LLC.  They serve over 400 bannered Auto Plus independent store owners, an additional 1,000 jobber stores, and over 20,000 professional service dealers.

“This is a significant milestone in the proud history of the Auto Plus organization and our customer family,” said Joe Ferrer, President of Auto Plus. “As an Alliance shareholder, we will be able to leverage additional, leading-edge marketing tools, technology solutions and other resources to maximize the power of our brands and programs in every market we serve.”

All Auto Plus locations, both corporate and independently owned, will continue to operate under the Auto Plus brand. Additionally, Auto Extra, Color Extra, Pro Stop & Pro Line will remain the company’s private label product offerings.  The Auto Plus Independent Store Program and the Auto Plus Professional Service Center platform – which has more than 2,500 service center members – will benefit from additional marketing tools and other resources available to Alliance shareholder businesses.

“The Alliance is thrilled to announce Auto Plus as the newest shareholder to the Alliance. Auto Plus has a strong footprint with an equally strong brand,” said John R. Washbish, president and CEO of the Alliance. “We look forward to assisting Auto Plus in their significant sales and growth strategy through the utilization of our marketing programs and information technology tools.”
