Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems and NEXUS Automotive International have agreed to terms on a strategic partnership to expand their global aftermarket presence and revenue streams.
The collaboration focuses on distributing heavy-duty components, including Meritor-branded, Euclid, and all-make product lines through NEXUS's international network. The agreement covers Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions.
“The cooperation with CDBS showcases NEXUS’ priority of working with global tier one suppliers,” Janusz Zielinski, HD Business Unit Director at NEXUS said in a press release. “This partnership reaffirms our strong commitment to promoting a sustainable aftermarket. Additionally, CDBS’ remanufactured parts program supports fleets in meeting all sustainability requirements.”
Terry Livingston, Global Business Development Leader at Cummins, noted that the partnership will utilize NEXUS's established distribution network to boost CDBS's independent aftermarket channel sales worldwide.
The partnership includes training initiatives and an expanded product range designed to serve the independent automotive aftermarket industry.
