The Small Business Legislative Council is hosting a free webinar for SEMA members on Feb. 18 from 10-11 a.m. EST to discuss recent U.S. trade policy developments and tariff announcements.
Attorneys from Barnes & Thornburg will address how the new steel and aluminum tariffs from the Trump administration, as well as reciprocal tariffs, will affect automotive manufacturing. SEMA has advised members to review their product codes under HTS Chapter 87, which covers vehicles and automotive parts. Download the 2025 version of tariff rates for the various automotive subheadings here.
