AASA to help members address current supply chain issues through new webinar series

The six-part series, "The AASA Supply Chain Series: Essential Strategies to Meet Customer Demand," will focus on the most critical aspects of supply chain disruption that aftermarket suppliers are currently experiencing.

AASA, along with premier sponsors Baker Tilly and eShipping, will kick off a critical webinar series, The AASA Supply Chain Series: Essential Strategies to Meet Customer Demand, on Wednesday, August 4 with a session entitled Aftermarket Supply Chain: The Next 18 Months. This will be the first of six webinars that will take place between the months of August and October and will cover hot topics such as: logistics, transportation, shipping, freight, sourcing, and labor solutions and will be the first event to focus specifically on supply chain in the industry.  

Hear directly from industry leaders on the current and future state of supply chain across the automotive aftermarket. Every session will last one hour and begin at 11:00 a.m. EDT. Dates and sessions include: 

  • Aug. 4: Aftermarket Supply Chain: The Next 18 Months 
  • Aug. 18: Global Aftermarket Supply Chain Logistics: Dealing with Freight Availabiliy, Inflation, and Port Issues 
  • Sept. 1: Government’s Role: Outlook for Tariffs & Trade Agreements 
  • Sept. 15: Sourcing Management Strategies for Ensuring Availability of Sub-components & Raw Materials 
  • Sept. 29: Supply Chain Strategies to Meet Customer Fill/Demand Requirements 
  • Oct. 20: Creative Labor Solutions for the Warehouse & DCs 

“Our members are the leading aftermarket suppliers, and they have informed us that current supply chain disruptions are continuing and are requiring new solutions,” said Paul McCarthy, President of AASA. “We will connect members to subject matter experts who will provide best practices and new strategic approaches to managing both the current crisis and help aftermarket suppliers meet the needs of customers and an ever-changing supply chain environment.” 

AASA will host each of the webinars as live sessions and will provide all the content on-demand following each event.
