OptiCat, a leading supplier of cataloging data services for the automotive and heavy duty aftermarkets, announces that PFC Brakes has joined the OptiCat Network.

As the automotive and heavy duty aftermarket community continues to embrace data standards, more and more Aftermarket Parts Data Receivers (distributors and other data users) are requesting high quality digital product data and application that conforms to the Auto Care ACES (Aftermarket Catalog Exchange Standard) and PIES (Product Information Exchange Standard) data standards. The OptiCat Network provides a cloud based secure supplier controlled distribution mechanism that includes data validation and secure distribution of proprietary data to specifically chosen channel partners within the supply chain. This capability and others provided by the OptiCat Network is focused on helping all Aftermarket suppliers and their channel partners be more efficient and successful in selling more parts.

“We’ve recently invested a great deal of time and energy improving our data and partnering with OptiCat has greatly improved our ability to communicate our new data with our distribution network with just a few clicks.” - Don Orrell, VP of Sales & Marketing, PFC Brakes. “We are proud that PFC Brakes has chosen to partner with OptiCat to provide their standardized product information to their customers through the OptiCat OnBoard Supplier portal,” said Don McEntee, OptiCat Director of Sales & Marketing. “We’re looking forward to helping them sell more parts by using our services.”

With this new addition, there are more than 930 Supplier brands in OptiCat’s secure data repository for use by supplier-approved Data Receiver channel partners.
