Jason Scott has joined The Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) purchasing team as executive vice president, vendor relations and product strategy, it was announced today by Larry Pavey, CEO of The Group.

Jason Scott has joined The Automotive Parts Services Group (The Group) purchasing team as executive vice president, vendor relations and product strategy, it was announced today by Larry Pavey, CEO of The Group.

In his new role, Scott will leverage his extensive experience in the areas of merchandising, product and category management, global sourcing, supplier relations and strategic planning. 

Prior to joining The Group, Scott spent 15 years at Genuine Parts Company where he held a variety of management positions, most recently serving as senior director of product management for application products. An automotive aftermarket veteran, Scott has also held strategic planning and product development roles at Four Seasons and served as senior director of product development at Altrom Automotive Group. A graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Scott completed the Genuine Parts Company executive leadership program at Emory University and the Six Sigma Green Belt training program at Georgia Tech.

“Our APSG purchasing team with Mike Mohler’s leadership has done a great job helping our members and suppliers find mutually beneficial ways to work together to grow their businesses,” said Pavey. “With the recent merger of Pronto and the Network we felt the added workload required additional talent and are excited to add Jason to the team.”
