Electronic Specialties’ EZ-Tach +Plus Digital Tachometer, No. 328, is a wireless and inductive tachometer that gives easy RPM readings (from 0 RPM to 20,000 RPM) for setting idle speeds and tuning a variety of engines from string trimmers to automotive.

EZ Tach +Plus can be used wireless by placing the instrument near any spark plug wire, ignition coil or distributor. EZ Tach +Plus features a built-in LED flashlight, which can be used to illuminate the working space. The tool can measure engine revolutions up to 20,000 RPM on both two- and four-stroke ignitions. Readings are easily viewed on the backlit LCD display.

SELLING POINTS
This tach works on as many types of engines as possible. It has the ability to get accurate RPM readings on engines as small as string trimmers and chain saws on up to outboards and automotive. EZ Tach +Plus was designed for all engine types and can filter the extra EMI noise produced by small engine CDI ignitions. Multimeters and most other tachs were designed for automotive use and can’t read RPM well on small engines. Attention was paid to the screen update rate of the readings so that RPMs on unstable motors can be seen properly.
