The Autel MaxiBAS BT608 is a touchscreen battery and electrical system analyzer that applies adaptive conductance, an advanced battery analysis method that produces a more accurate examination of the battery’s cold-cranking ability and reserve capacity, vital to determining a battery’s health. The BT608 can display a quick health status of the existing battery, register a new battery, and perform advanced battery and electrical system diagnostics. The BT608’s VINscan function enables quick identification of the vehicle and battery specifications. It can also read/clear codes on all available vehicle systems, and print or share customized reports via Wi-Fi as well as print test reports via the built-in thermal printer.

Application 

The MaxiBAS BT608 works on all batteries from 100-3000 CCA and the battery types: AGM, Flooded, EFB, GEL, and AGM Spiral. It has the capability to test the battery, starting system, and charging system, as well as read and clear codes from all modules.

Origin

Testing and replacing a battery in a vehicle has always been a multi-tool and time-consuming job. The company wanted to make a tool that could be a one-tool stop for all things electrical system testing. 

Manufacturing/engineering specifications 

The BT608 has an Android 9 platform with a 5.5" touchscreen and a built-in camera for VIN and license plate identification. There is no annual update fee.

Storage and display

The battery and electrical system analyzer is shipped in a hard, plastic case and comes with a marketing sleeve for quick reference on the outside of the package. The company recommends displaying the tool right next to your diagnostic scan tools and turning on the tool's display for technician's to touch and operate.
