Sales Tip: How to keep your truck clean

March 12, 2024
The cleanliness of your truck is important; why not make cleaning easy?

Do you think of your tool truck as a truck or as a store? A mobile store is a big investment and one of the most important parts of your business. Do you keep it clean, merchandised, and organized? Think about where you like to shop. Do you walk into a big box electronic store and step over a pile of dirt? How about the grocery store, do you want to buy food off a dust-covered shelf? Keeping your truck or mobile store a nice place to shop can boost your sales.

There are several ways you can keep your floor clean. A broom and a disposable mop like a Swiffer will make a big difference. You may not have noticed, but many new tool trucks are being built with steps that collect and hold dirt from your customer’s shoes before it ends up on your sales floor. To maintain them you simply dump out the collection pan that is under the steps. However, if a new truck is not in the budget check out the Easy Clean Steps from Tool Truck Essentials. To use the Easy Clean Steps, users just remove the top step grate, pull out the tray, and dump it out. With an appointment, the steps can be installed in your existing mobile store at the Cumming, Georgia facility over the weekend.
