NAPA Special Issue: Welcome to the NAPA Auto Parts Tool & Equipment Special Issue

July 25, 2014

Welcome to the NAPA Tools and Equipment Special issue, brought to you by PTEN magazine! This special issue features details on company and product information brought to you exclusively from NAPA Auto Parts.

You may generally think of NAPA as a parts store, but in recent years, the company has expanded its tool and equipment offering to provide hundreds of professional products for the auto repair technician.

More than 85 years ago, the National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA) was created to meet America’s growing need for an effective auto parts distribution system. Since then, NAPA has had one goal: give customers the parts and tools they need to get the job done right.

Tool beginnings

Carlyle Fraser was one of NAPA’s founders and served as its fifth company president. He remained a driving force through NAPA’s growth for several decades and, in 1981, was inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, MI.

Carlyle Fraser’s dedication to quality and product diversity has been a source of inspiration over the years. When the newest line of professional hand tools was crafted, there was no question regarding what name would best represent such a comprehensive arsenal of products.

With over 1,700 items in 12 major categories, the Carlyle Professional Hand Tool program combines the quality, features and coverage that NAPA customers have come to expect.

Carlyle Professional Hand Tools introduces a new legacy in the tool market based on quality and performance in the tradition of its namesake.

Setting high expectations

The NAPA Tools & Equipment program provides a "one-stop shop" approach, something busy customers look for and appreciate.

In this special NAPA Tools & Equipment issue, readers have access to information on a broad range of products NAPA offers. You’ll find products from brands such as OTC Diagnostics, Solar Charging & Starting, Port-A-Cool and Coats Wheel Service Equipment.

You’ll find products in a number of categories, including Hand Tools, Diagnostics, Shop Equipment and more. We also feature additional product details, tool reviews and company information about the NAPA brand.
