This bulletin applies to 2017 Jeep Wranglers equipped with LED headlamps. If an LED headlamp assembly is removed for any reason, it must then be replaced and not re-used. Sound strange? According to Chrysler, the LED headlamps are not designed to be removed or reused (one time use only once installed), and are sealed units. Only three conditions require removal of the LED headlamps: If the headlamps are damaged and require replacement, if the electrical harness behind the core support needs to be repaired, or if the front end module (FEM) is being replaced.
LED headlamps will require removal with the headlamp bucket as an assembly.
