JohnDow Industries has introduced its newest oil handling product, the Oil Container Drainer, to its service equipment division line of products.
According to JohnDow officials, the drainer was developed so repairers can “safely and easily drain” oil bottles before recycling.
The Oil Container Drainer features a cabinet-like structure where repairers can place bottles upside down on the Oil Container Drainer pegs and excess oil drains from the container into a connected drum. The drainer can hold up to 18 bottles, according to JohnDow officials.
Features include an easy open, hinged and lockable lid door; hooks to stabilize larger bottles for easy drainage; adjustable feet to secure the container on the drum; two side supports to keep the lid open at 45 degrees; and heavy-duty steel construction.
“Increased state and local environmental regulations around the proper disposal of oil have made repairers identify an effective excess oil draining process,” says Brian Morgan, national sales manager for JohnDow Industries Service Equipment.
