Jan. 17, 2018
Ford is working to develop 40 electrified vehicles, including 16 that are fully electric.

By 2022, Ford plans to increase their electrification investment by $6.5 billion, Executive Chairman Bill Ford Jr. said at the North American International Auto Show.

With the team working to develop 40 electrified vehicles, including 16 fully battery electric, hybrids and plug-in vehicles, a previously announced $4.5 billion investment jumped to $11 billion.

"We're going to electrify even our most iconic vehicles," Ford said at the show. "The only question is, will the customer be there with us?"
