On July 20, at its annual fundraising gala at Howl at the Moon in Pittsburgh, Pa., CIF Trustee Jim Ocampo of Axalta Coating Systems presented Bryan Miller, an Ohio-based technician and painter, a check to assist him in his ongoing recovery from severe burns he suffered in a devastating fire last September.
Approximately 40 percent of the total amount was donated to the "Bryan Miller campaign," which CIF rounded up to $15,000.
As CIF President Michael Quinn of AirProDiagnostics explained during the presentation, "This is only the beginning of the industry support."
The Collision Industry Foundation is committed to assisting those working in the Collision Repair industry through crisis and tragedies.
Bryan Miller and his fiancée, Kassi Nellett, along with his cousin, Steve Legg, attended the 11th Annual Fundraising Gala to thank the Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) for answering the call and assisting him with getting back to work. Although his recovery is still an ongoing lengthy process, Miller is grateful for the assistance from CIF and the industry at large to make this happen.
