ETI announces new board members

The Equipment and Tool Institute announced 2011-2012 officers and new directors.

Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) announced the new 2011-2012 Officers and Board Members on their election to office beginning June 1, 2011:

Officers (one-year term)

  • President – Alan Tecmire (ETAS)
  • Vice President, Programs – Dan Brass (SPX)
  • Vice President, Marketing – Ben Johnson (ALLDATA)
  • Secretary/Treasurer – Neil Davis (Snap-on Diagnostics)
  • Immediate Past President – Mike Cable (RTI Technologies)

Directors

  • Elected to fill open and expired board seats to a two year term: Brian Herron (Drew Technologies)
  • Elected to fill open and expired board seats to a three year term: Jim Graninger (Robert Bosch) - Re-Elected; Peter David (ProgRama) – Re-Elected; Bob Holland (Chief Automotive Technologies)
  • Rounding out the Board of Directors completing terms previous elected to are: Garret Miller (SPX Service Solutions); David Rich (Innova Electronics Corp.); Tim Morgan (Elektron, Inc.); Greg Potter (DG Technologies); Nick Zala (Helm Incorporated)

Founded in 1947, the Equipment and Tool Institute is a trade association of automotive tool and equipment manufacturers and technical information providers. ETI’s mission is to: Advance the vehicle service industry by providing technical data and open dialog between the manufacturers of transportation products, government regulators and the providers of tools, equipment and service information.
