Wendy Earp has been promoted to senior vice president, secretary, treasurer and chief financial officer for the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), effective Dec. 5, 2012.
“Wendy does a great job and is a valuable member of the MEMA senior management team,” said Bob McKenna, president and CEO of MEMA. “This promotion is well-deserved recognition of Wendy’s outstanding work and dedication to MEMA and the member companies of its affiliated associations.”
Earp is responsible for the financial management, including budgeting, accounting practices, strategic financial planning and monitoring of financial performance of MEMA and its affiliated associations: Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA), and Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).
She joined MEMA as its controller in May 2001. Prior to joining MEMA, Earp spent 11 years at the Raleigh, N.C., office of a top-tier public accounting firm where she was promoted through the ranks to experienced audit manager.
Earp is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and she is a certified public accountant.
