Peterbilt names Martin's Peterbilt Parts and Service Dealer of the Year

Terry Martin, dealer principal of Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky, accepted the award during the event held in Fort Worth, near Peterbilt’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas.

Achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and top scores in Peterbilt’s Standards of Excellence program, Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky was named the 2013 North American Peterbilt Parts and Service Dealer of the Year. Peterbilt Motors Company announced the award during its annual Dealer Meeting.

"Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky has an excellent reputation for treating customers professionally and completing service work quickly and accurately," said Darrin Siver, Peterbilt general manager and PACCAR vice president. "They take advantage of all training opportunities – including for the PACCAR MX-13 Engine – and utilize PACCAR Parts and TRP products to maximize customer uptime and minimize costs. Additionally, their operations are extremely efficient and they have an absorption rate well over 100 percent."

The business meeting celebrated both dealer performance and Peterbilt’s 75th anniversary.

Martin’s Peterbilt of Eastern Kentucky was also recognized for growing its parts purchase volume, including its share of TRP products. "Terry and his staff do an excellent job at optimizing inventory to help ensure they have what customers need, when they need it," said David Danforth, PACCAR Parts general manager. "They led the Peterbilt dealer network and achieved outstanding results in every performance category."
