Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. announced that during its Diamond Deal Days Sales Event, it will be offering 1.9 percent APR financing on its 2014 and 2015 model year Canter FE Series commercial trucks.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) announced that during its Diamond Deal Days Sales Event, it will be offering 1.9 percent APR financing on its 2014 and 2015 model year Canter FE Series commercial trucks. In addition, the company is now offering 0.9 percent financing or $2,000 additional bonus cash on any new 2012 and 2013 Canter FE Series purchased before September 30, 2014.

In announcing the new program, Mike Rumsey, MFTA’s vice president, sales operations, noted, “At Mitsubishi Fuso, we concentrate on providing our customers with lower cost-of-ownership, in every way we can. In the economy we all operate in today, it’s an absolute necessity. Very few businesses today operate with fat margins. Most are operating on margins as lean as they ever have. So we try hard to help them keep their truck transport costs in line with both efficient trucks and with great financing and other incentives.

“FUSO Canter FE Series medium duty trucks,” Rumsey continued, “typically offer better fuel economy, longer service intervals and payloads as much as 2,200 lbs higher than competitive trucks. Couple that with the 1.9 percent APR financing and we believe we are offering medium duty work truck owners with a direct path to lower cost-of-ownership.”

FUSO Canter medium duty work trucks are available in Class 3 through 5 (12,500 lb through 17,995 lb) GVWRs, in standard cab and crew cab models, as well as the only cabover 4WD model available in North America.
