ASA Electronics, an Elkhart, Ind.-based manufacturer and supplier of premium mobile audio and video equipment, has announced they are adding new team members to their ever-expanding engineering department. Most recently, ASA has hired Ibrahim Eltahir as its newest test engineer. In his new position, Eltahir will utilize ASA’s extensive test facilities and in-house equipment to validate new product designs and design revisions.
“Ibrahim joins our team with very relevant experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis,” stated Jerry Maffetone, ASA’s vice president of engineering. “He will play a key role in ASA’s commitment to delivering products that exceed customer expectations for durability and quality.”
Eltahir graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and recently worked with GS Exelis Inc. out of Fort Wayne, Ind., where he held a similar title. He has worked extensively with environmental, performance, functional, and electrical testing procedures as well as data recording and troubleshooting.
