With the electronic logging device (ELD) mandate finalized, questions about it may arise.

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announced the final rules on Dec. 10, 2015 with the ultimate goal of improving safety on the roads by helping drivers better follow Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. Rand McNally has responded by launching the ELD Road Map site (www.randmcnally.com/eld) with all the information about the new mandate in one place.

In addition, a free ELD toolkit, which contains a complete set of materials on ELD compliance, is available at the link above.
