Miller and Hobart to host Welding and Heating Technology Conference

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and Hobart — in conjunction with E.H. Wachs — will host the third annual Welding and Heating Technology Conference in Houston on Sept. 21, 2016. Because the drive for greater profitability in the industry has never been stronger or more urgent, according to Miller Electric, this free event will feature educational seminars with keynote speakers, panel and round-table discussions, live demonstrations and networking opportunities aimed at discovering ways to stay competitive, maximize profitability and improve operational efficiency in welding and heating operations.  

The one-day conference will be held at the ITW Welding Technology Center, 15331 Vantage Parkway East in Houston. Registration information and a full schedule of event activities are available at MillerWelds.com/techconf.

8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.   

Seminar: Staying Competitive with New Technologies & Welding Intelligence™ - Presented by keynote speaker Mike Lang of Fluor   

Understand how to drive improvements with production and process monitoring tools.  

8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 

Lunch 

Lunch is provided as part of registration.  

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 

Maximizing Profitability through Training and Weld Process Choices 
Efficiently and cost-effectively develop better skills and realize the full potential in your welders.  
1 p.m. – 3 p.m.  

Round-table Discussion 
3 p.m. – 4 p.m.  

Additional networking and hands-on demonstrations will take place until 6 p.m.
