Larson Electronics LLC has released a 360 degree LED indicator light that offers a variety of color options. This waterproof LED indicator light is a permanent mount unit and a 1" pipe mount, and may be suited for general applications where an indicator light is a primary optical warning device for emergency vehicles in hazardous situations, or use within hazardous location work sites.

The CL1B-STB from Larson Electronics is a Class 1 rated indicator light that offers 360 degrees of LED illumination in green, amber, red, white or blue. This light eliminates dark spots or unevenness that may result with the use of traditional incandescent beacons. The auxiliary LEDs on top of the beacon help make this unit a Class 1 rated indicator light that provides operators with steady-burn illumination that can be seen from extended distances.

A permanent pipe mounting system is embedded at the base of the LED indicator light and mounts through holes and self tapping screws. This system allows operators to maximize mounting security and the reliability of the indicator light’s performance. To enhance the LED light’s structure, the unit includes a black powder coated die cast base that contains the fully potted circuit board. A polycarbonate lens protects the LEDs further, making this indicator light shock resistant and waterproof. This Class 1 rated indicator light is operable on 12 or 24 volt DC, and draws 1.2 amps.

“The CL1B-STB is Class 1 SAE J845 rated, meaning it’s an optimal light for emergency services located in hazardous situations,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “This indicator light provides a securely mounted, brilliant LED beam that sheds 360 degrees of extended output with steady burn, great for operators who need eye-catching, consistent lighting to notify other drivers or pedestrians of an ongoing situation.”
