KNIPEX redesigns 10" Pliers Wrench

Nov. 8, 2018
Major changes include increasing the capacity from 1-3/4" to 2" and introducing laser marking guides on the product.

KNIPEX has redesigned the 10" Pliers Wrench and introduced three new models.

The pliers wrench is available in the original chrome finish and a new black atramentized finish. Some of the major changes include increasing the capacity from 1-3/4" to 2" and introducing laser marking guides on the product. The opening width sizes have been laser etched onto the pliers - metric on the front and imperial on the back.

  • Increased gripping capacity due to two additional setting positions: flexible gripping of all widths across flats up to 2" (52 mm)
  • 15 percent less weight with the same box-joint stability
  • Laser-etched scale allows the wrench opening to be set before gripping onto workpiece
  • Replaces a whole set of open-ended wrenches - metric and inch
  • Easier to use due to considerably reduced weight, straightened handle and slim jaw profile
  • Zero backlash jaw pressure prevents damage to edges
  • Reliable catching of the hinge bolt: no unintentional shifting
  • Parallel jaws evenly distribute force for a secure grip that is 10x pressure applied to handles
  • Now available with a black finish or chrome plating
  • Pliers Wrenches are available in 5" to 16" lengths with capacities from 7/8" to 3 3/8"
