The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) announced their 2019 Fall Technical Conference will be held on August 20-21 in Chicago, Illinois. Registration is currently open for members, which can be accessed through the Upcoming Events section on their website, AMRA.org. The Technical Conferences are a part of the association’s Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) and are held three times a year. This year’s Fall meeting has a variety of topics that affect the automotive aftermarket and those who service the motorist’s vehicles. Some of the topics include top tier fuels, engine lubrication, advance drive assistance systems (ADAS), wheel failures, tire and wheel balancing, and more. Industry experts will be giving presentations for each of the topics to inform the committee and the audience of any recent changes.
“The Technical Conferences are a critical element of the organization and this Fall’s lineup will once again draw record attendance. We are excited about the topics for this meeting and believe the relevancy and timing of the topics align well with initiatives our member organizations are working on,” said Jeff Cox, AMRA’s president.
Along with the technical presentations, the event includes an engaging networking reception and dinner bringing industry professionals from both service providers and non-service providers together to foster relationships and serve as a pipeline for collaboration.
