ContiTech’s Power Transmission Group is increasing its presence in North America.
ContiTech, based in Hanover, Germany, a worldwide manufacturer of drive belts, is now intent on enhancing its name recognition in North America especially in the do-it-yourself and do-it-for-me segments and simultaneously increasing its market share, it reports.
“To boost our sales activities, we have intensified cooperation with our sales partners on a local level,” says Konrad Müller, general manager of ContiTech’s Power Transmission Group.
ContiTech offers a special product range of timing belts, V-belts and multi-ribbed belts for the U.S. aftermarket that are built to original equipment specifications. A new image brochure unveiled with the new focus provides a look into the company’s broad spectrum of operations as a development partner and manufacturer of drive belts and matched components, as well as belt drive systems. It provides the reader with information about ContiTech Power Transmission Group and its products and services.
The brochure is divided into eight sections, presenting the business unit and its areas of expertise in the field of materials technology, design and development, systems competence, production and planning, automotive aftermarket, industry and global presence, the company states.
