This year, Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) will be dedicating its annual ToolTech event to commemorate its 75-year milestone.
ToolTech 2022 will take place May 2 at the Coronado Island Marriott in Coronado, Calif, and will include a variety of professionals and speakers from the automotive industry and aftermarket.
Registration is currently now open.
Same as in years past, attendees can display and participate in the Company Spotlight event, where member companies showcase their products to attending OEMs and industry leaders. Registration for the Company Spotlight ends April 25.
Brief ETI history
During the second year of World War II, the War Production Board formed an advisory council that consisted of about roughly 20 equipment and tool manufacturers. It wasn’t long after that those involved found it to be very beneficial to work together.
In the spring of 1947, a group of approximately 50 tool and equipment manufactures met in Atlantic City to discuss how to continually promote the interests of equipment and tool manufacturers. This meeting ultimately led the way for Equipment and Tool Institute.
