EFI Automotive offers a new way to charge EVs

Jan. 9, 2023
No need to plug in with this new induction robot charger designed for all types of vehicles, light and commercial, and all brands.

At CES 2023, EFI Automotive released a new way to charge EVs.

The robot charger, which was demonstrated at the Stellantis booth, automatically detects the vehicle when in range and moves into position under the vehicle to begin charging. No user action is needed. The charger will find the vehicle even without perfect parking.

The robot avoids any obstacles when on the move and stops if a movement is detected, for safety, the company claims.

The autonomous unit charges wirelessly, is able to charge sequentially multiple vehicles, and is remotely controlled with an app.

The robot charger is designed for 100 percent electric and hybrid vehicles for professionals and individuals, states the company.
