PTEN is proud to announce its 2023 Innovation Awards program is now open.

Evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of technicians and shop owners, the PTEN Innovation Awards recognize the most innovative products introduced in the last year to the automotive aftermarket. These tools, introduced or significantly updated within the last year, are evaluated based on their ability to make vehicle diagnosis and repair easier and more efficient as well as make shops more productive.

Early Bird Deadline: March 3, 2023

FINAL Entry Deadline: March 24, 2023

With 25 categories to choose from, each nominated product will be scored based on five criteria: time savings, task simplification, uniqueness, level of improvement over current tool, and ease of use.

Winning submissions will be published in the August 2023 issue of PTEN and Professional Distributor. Those with the highest scores will be interviewed by a PTEN editor and be featured in a monthly column in each issue of PTEN (one winner per issue).

The winning companies will also be honored during a special Innovation Awards ceremony at the 2023 AAPEX Show in Las Vegas.

Additionally, all submissions will be eligible for PTEN’s People’s Choice program, an awards program in which winners are selected by PTEN readers. The People's Choice winners will be published in the October issue of PTEN and Professional Distributor.
