Continental, an aftermarket supplier of parts, diagnostic solutions, and tools for repair shops, has increased the coverage of its Autodiagnos Pro Automotive Diagnostic System scan tool to now include European vehicles.
The expanded coverage includes 1.5 million Volkswagen, Audi, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the United States and Canada.
Additionally, Continental has enhanced the scan tool to help streamline vehicle diagnosis and repair. It now can be used to service a wide range of Asian, domestic, and European makes and models.
"With the addition of significant European coverage and Continental-specific tool capabilities, Autodiagnos Pro will help our professional customers streamline their diagnostic procedures for faster and more productive vehicle service," said Christopher Bahlmann, head of diagnostics and services, Continental Commercial Vehicles and Services.
The Autodiagnos Pro system is designed to help users analyze, diagnose, and repair vehicles quickly. It reports DTCs in an average of 20-30 seconds, decodes VINs in seconds, and provides accurate data in list, multiple graph, and gauge formats. It works with shop's existing desktop, laptop, or tablet, and is offered on a subscription-based model.
Autodiagnos Pro Scan Tools sold and registered through May 30, 2022, "will have two years of software updates included in the initial purchase," says Bahlmann.
