Certain Hyundai vehicles are being recalled due to fuel hose crack.

Hyundai is recalling certain 2022 Sonata vehicles due to fuel hose crack.

The low pressure fuel hose that connects the low pressure fuel pump to the direct injection fuel pump may crack over time due to heat generated within the engine compartment, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Hyundai will begin sending out recall notices in the mail in early July. Owners may contact Hyundai's customer service by calling 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 227.

To remedy the situation, dealers will replace the low pressure fuel hose at no charge.

To check to see if your vehicle has an open recall, visit NHTSA's website and enter the vehicle's 17-digit vehicle identification number.
