Ford has announced its latest initiative, a digital and video-based dealer learning platform called Ford University. Accessible 24/7, the platform provides training, videos, virtual coaching, and other tools for the 3,000 Ford dealers in the U.S.

Ford University gives users a personalized dashboard that can help them find and fill skill or knowledge gaps while adding some gamification elements to keep users entertained and effective. Users can also access on-demand virtual feedback with AI-supported feedback to directly address trainee's strengths and weaknesses. Ford is also actively developing its university's content library, working with award-winning producers and content creators to ensure the program's continued growth.

Using a “teach, show, practice, reinforce” framework, the company aims to use Ford University to bring a new level of knowledge and experience to the 164,000 dealership employees across the nation.
